Dr. Sharma is an expert in Internal Medicine, Clinical and Interventional Cardiology, valvular heart disease, structural heart disease, heart failure and peripheral vascular disease.
He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. He was selected to remain as Chief Resident at Jewish Hospital. He completed a year in clinical research in cardiology at University of California, San Francisco. He continued his training in General Cardiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and then returned to San Francisco to complete his General and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at the University of California San Francisco. He then continued his training in peripheral vascular disease and advanced endovascular and structural heart disease interventions as Clinical Instructor at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Dr. Sharma then joined the Cardiovascular Medical Group in 2009.
